E&SA Support Group Thank you!! was created by Poppy
Hi there, everyone, I was shocked and suprized when I received my letter to say that I had been placed in the support group, contribution based of E&SA for 18th months, with no face to face medical. I have been reading all the comments on the message board and I had lost hope. Thank you, its amazing news. Thank you to everyone that gave me advice, I followed your instructions to the T, and got a result.

Anyway I have a question if anyone that can help.
Can I be taken out of the support group before the 18 months period of time, if they feel like it. Also will I be entitled to enhanced disability premisum becasue I am in the support group. I also receive DLA middle care. Thanks

Hi, KS,

At least it was a pleasant surprise, that is really good news !!! :woohoo:

Thanks for you kind comments regarding all at B&W.

The 18 months prognosis is only a recommendation, and the DWP can reassess you any time after 3 months.

However, in the vast majority of cases they do stick with the prognosis, therefore you should expect to receive a new ESA50 etc, a couple of months before the 18 months period is up.

As premiums are paid in the form of IR ESA tops ups, it would depend on whether your personal circumstances allowed for payment of IR ESA.

Can I redraw your attention to our comments made on your topic, here :
