Just had letter saying I'm in the support group! was created by megsie84
Hi first of all thank you very much I have been placed in the support group and have been told that my weekly benifits will be £119 from the 29th of march. Secondly I was wandering how come my benifits have had such a increase as I was only on £105 a week before and don't recive dla , Thanks.

Congratulations on the award.
If you have not already received one, you should soon get a letter from the DWP with a full breakdown of your payments, however, it sounds like you are on ESA(IR) and as a result would would also receive the Enhanced Disability Premium for being in the Support Group, which is about £14 as I understand it.
If you want to know when you might be re-assessed, you can request your ESA85 if your had an assessment and the ESA85A if you did not, the prognosis is usually used to set this date.
