Well I called DWP yesterday to shout at them as have asked 3 times since 5th December for documents under data protection act for my appeal. I was in shock when she said reconsideration had been done day before, placed in SG and backpay authorised and should be in my account by next Tuesday :woohoo:

I am trying not too get too excited till I get the letter or money in my account as I know they have made mistakes. The amount of back pay tied in exactly so hoping she was right.

I sent in a few pages with gl24 pointing out all the lies, assumptions and innacuracies and how basically all my info and ESA50 had been ignored as had a recent DLA report giving me HRM & MRC. I had got a letter from GP, consultants letters, exerts from my medical notes etc etc still to send in but seems the fight is over (I hope) and the 2nd decision maker had a bit more common sense than the first!

I am very glad I joined B&W as the guides and forum have been very helpful, if I had left it to my local CAB I would definitely have been up the creek so thank you very much all at B&W for the good work you do :cheer:

Hope this gives others in the process of appealing some encouragement, bombard them with as much as you can and dont give up.

Hi Bb,

A very cautious "Congratulations" :)

Well done on being placed into The SG.

Hopefully you will receive written notification of the award in the coming days.

It will make a change, in looking forward to a Brown Envelope popping through the letterbox, rather than dreading it.

When you do, please return and let us know.

Thanks for your positive remarks encouraging our members, and for your complimentary comments regarding B&W. :)

Well it's official, had my letter and payment through so I guess I can relax a bit now though will have to find out for how long it was awarded. Can anyone tell me which form the prognosis/review date is on?

Next fight is letter to ICO as Dwp ignoring all requests for paperwork and complaint letters to DWP, ATOS and my MP when I get the energy.

All told the process of migration from incapacity benefit started in June 2011 so nearly 2 years of uncertainty & stress.

Forgot to say I had my medical recorded, I presume that helped in that i stated on GL24 that several of the "doctor's" lies would be proved by the tape.

Hi j11,

With regards to CAB, as with everything, there is good and bad.

If you have a good read through our ESA Claims Guides first, you may be able to better assess what quality of advice and information you are receiving, then take it from there.

The obvious advantage would be that you will have face to face contact, it's far easier to advise in this situation rather than on a Forum, like us poor Mods
