received my letter with good news was created by reds123
had my letter on saturday saying i was being transfered to esa from income support and incapacity benefit from 25 feb into the support group, i have read the letter over and over and it definitaly says support group income based and contribution based then gives me the figures of what i will be on, this is such a relief to me and my wife and i would like to thank every one on this forum for the help and support i got during the transfer. i dont know how long the award was for as it does not say in the letter but at least i have some time now to focus on getting my health manageable if thats possible, i sent my form begining of jan so i dont know if the new rules were used in my assesment or the old ones (for mental disabilities), once again a big thank you and good luck to every one who is going through the transfer at present.

thanks gordon, i would like to know about how they reached the decision and the length of the award so i will write and ask for the evidence used in this process especialy the esa85a and the esa72 is this what i should be asking for and should i leave it untill i am officialy on esa come 25 feb so i dont cause any confusion and they then re assess my claim and i loose my support group award. many thanks.
