After a couple of months waiting for a decision, I just got a letter saying I had been put in the support group without a medical. I made sure I had a lot of evidence and letters of support from my doctors, which I believe contributed to the success of my application. I am on ESA on the grounds of a fluctuating mental health condition: Bipolar. Oh the relief! It has been especially hard for me this year as I have also been coping with my partner having been treated for cancer. This site and every other bit of advice I could glean from the internet, especially from organisations that focus on mental health was invaluable. Thanks to all a B and W.
That is good news - thank you for letting us know, and for your kind words about this site
Even though you did not have a face-to-face medical, you can still request your ESA85A if you would like to find out how the decision was made and roughly when to expect reassessment.
