Support Group was created by yankee
Hi

I am so thankful that I have gone into Support Group from having a medical I am so relieved. I have been awarded Support Group for Three Years transferred over from IB to Support Group.

I had read somewhere that Support Group is £30 extra a week but the person on the telephone told me my money stays the same. I have been long term IB since 1993.

Will I get JC+ trying to get me to go for interviews, the person on the phone told me will not have to go for any interviews.

Also though I have been awarded three years Support Group does this change with Universal Credit?

And also I followed your forms and they helped me get across my health problems and mental health issues in the best way that I could along with your website they were the best thing I have read, I am so grateful I became a Member of Your Website.

Thanks

Thank you for sharing your good news with us, I am glad that you found our guides helpful.

As you are in the Support Group you wil not have to attend the JobCentre for Work Focussed Interviews - although you can arrange to undertake these if you think you would find it helpful.

There is usually extra money for the Support Group, especially iof people have been paid the assessment rate of ESA prior to the decision. However, as you are being transferred from IB, it is likely that you are already getting at least as much as people on the Support Group. Under those circumstances, under the transitional protection arrangements, your IB will stay the same until such time as the Support Group rate has caught up with what you are currently getting.
