Congratulations also,
Its nice to know that some people go through it and that it works out. Im about to go through it myself. Wish they could have waited till after xmas though, but no such luck, haha.
Can I ask what you felt helped you the most when filling in the form and during the whole process, besides the great support from B & W?

I have had Multiple Scelrosis for 14 years and was invalided out of my job.I feel that I probably met the descriptors with this alone, but I am also recovering from cancer(following high intensity chemotherapy).I was fortunate to obtain letters from both my MS and Cancer specialists to send with my ESA50 and I do feel that whatever information you can get to support your claim is very useful.I have a very supportive GP but he is receiving requests for support letters at such a rate that he cannot physically cope with the volume much as he would like to.I fully understand his position and quite frankly think he should be treating the poorly people rather than completing government paperwork! As far as am aware he did not get a 113A(GP medical info request) on my behalf.
I have requested the 85a from the DWP to see the result of their deliberations as I am quite sure that my transfer from DLA to PIP will arrive at some point.
Just by way of info:-
I did send an ESA50 both to ATOS and DWP(Jobcentre) by special delivery so that I knew they had received them.
I did chase by telephone after 2 weeks to see how it was progressing(not very useful-"in process").
Any relevant medical letters of support obviously beneficial.
Thank you and good luck.

I took ages and went through the 90 page guide on this site.It is very comprehensive and although very distressing to me personally it helped to fill the most of the form.( We have people locally turned down even though they have cancer and amputations!), then took advice from my local centre to assist me with the final completion. It is essential I think to try to give as much info and confirmation by way of medical letters as you can.I only wish I could feel joyous at the prospect of being proven to be ill!!
