Result of Medical - Thank you B&W! was created by LadyLuna
First of all thank you so much for your help. I have been put on the Support side for 12 months. I was so nervous when I first knew I would have to go on ESA and be at the mercy of the "healthcare professional's" opinion.
I also asked for the ESA65 and 85 as you suggest.
This morning I received the Medical Report Form. It is full of so many inaccuracies. She only briefly mentioned my obesity and answered that my build was "Normal". She also made observations putting down that I stated I could do certain things or had no pain when I wasn't asked specifically or I told her I did. Stated I wasn't tired, bent to floor from sitting position adequately and I required no help moving from one place to another. I held onto her hand and a chair to get on scales. She then asked me to look forward and I said I could not and needed to sit down.
There are more but I wondered if this could make an issue later on?
Any suggestions?
Many thanks once again.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It is unlikely that the report will be used again for ESA, and even if it is, you were placed in the Support Group, So I doubt it can cause any problem to a future assessment.
ESA medical reports are sometimes used in connection with a DLA renewal, but again it would be difficult to see how this could be used in a negative way.
You can make a complaint to ATOS about the content of the report, but this could be a Catch-22 as having the report thrown out could undermine your SG award (it's unlikely, but possible).
Bottom line, I am afraid any decision lies with you.

OK thanks for the advice Gordon. I will have a DLA review at some point as I have an award for life on my left arm which will go over to PIP I guess.
I know I was awarded SG but how they can even then come out with such inaccuracies is quite mind blowing.
Anyway once again thank you all for your help with regards the Medical. This site is worth it's weight in gold

Had to share. Just looked up the nurse who took the medical and she is a midwife.
Made me giggle!
