Another brown envelope

I'm not going to relax though because it looks from the dates that it is only a three month award till 22nd November 2012.......oh bliss then it all starts again.
One question though, shouldn't I have also received something explaining how and why I was awarded support group and a list of the points that I received.
I do have a copy of the medical (I requested it 2 weeks after the medical) which was also recorded but there is no mention on anything re points or discriptors etc.
Can anyone advise please.

Hi LB,
Well done on gaining entry to The Support Group, that is good news.
With regards to the November 2012 date that you have noted on your ESA Award letter.
This is not likely to be the date of a re-assessment of your SG Award.
Many members have seen this date on their award letter, and have been confused.
Apparently, it is used by the DWP for administration purposes only, and may tie in with the issuing of the Xmas Bonus.
To find out the expected date of your next ESA review, you will need to request the ESA85 Medical Report, (if you do not already have it).
This will contain the "prognosis" from the ATOS HCP, which is the recommended length of your SG award before re-assessment.
You can request this over the phone, but you should back up any verbal request in writing.

Hi LB,
The Medical Report compiled at your assessment (The ESA85), should have ESA85 printed on it.
This should contain the "PROGNOSIS" as explained in my previous post.
