Wrag To Support Group !

Good Afternoon All,
I have just been told by a nice lady at the DWP, that ive been put into the Support Group
I cant tell you how stressful it's been getting there, but hopefully now my anxiety levels will decrease slightly.
The information on this site and advice from forum moderators and members has been invaluable.

That is good news. However, not wanting to be a killjoy, in your position I would control my excitement until I have written proof of the award!

I am very pleased for you, but heed Mrs hurtybacks advice, I was given false information from a nice lady at DWP, so wait until you have it in writing, it may take a while, mine was 3 months. Rapheal

I understand what your saying, and to be honest i cant quite believe it as yet.
But i did speak to 2 people at the DWP, and the first lady said, the decision was awarded this morning, and she read out all the info she had on my claim, after doing security checks.I did ask her, was she sure ? and she went over it again. She then said, she would get someone from the Payments Dept to call me.The lady called from Payments, and went through security checks, and then told me i would get back payments from Dec 2011, and it would take 2 weeks to receive it and then new payment's would begin.
I asked her again, if she was definitely sure i was put into the Support Group ?
And she said i will read out the letter, which will be sent to you, and she confirmed that i would be awarded ESA, with regards to my Mental Health conditions, Reg 35.
So im pretty sure its all ok, but i will believe it when i see it.

That does sound hopeful!

I'm 50/50 until i see the letter, fingers crossed
