I finally received my confirmation letter today of my successful migration from IS to ESA support group, I would like to thank the mods and other forum users for their support during this anxiety inducing period, without a shadow of a doubt I would have been lost without the b&w guides and support from the site.
Hi A,
That's really good news.
Thank you very much for your positive comments regarding B&W.
Thanks also, for letting us know.

Congrulations for being put in Support Group without medical.I suppose your letter doesnt state which SP group criteria you met. Were you aiming at one particular criteria when completing ESA 50. The reason i ask is because i could have met 3 Support Group criteria's and am puzzled as to the one i met. Should i ask them(DWP) or am i rocking the boat.Any guidance appreciated.

Hi P,
The only way to find out why you have been placed in the SG, is to request any relative ESA forms, such as the ESA85, if you had a face to face medical, or the ESA85A if you did not have a face to face.
To cover all bases, you could request copy of any documentation or ESA forms used in connection with your award of ESA SG.
You may then also find out how long your award is likely to last, before re-assessment.
You have every right to request the above, and many members have done so.
You should address any such request to the ESA Decision Maker, at the address of the Benefits Office that will be on any letters regarding your ESA.
Keep a copy and post by recorded delivery. You could back up this written request with a verbal one over the phone.
