Hi all,
Today I woke up to the dreaded brown envelope on the floor by the door. After three months of waiting, following a renewal of my ESA and, a request to be placed in the Support Group, due to deterioration of my mental and physical health, I have been advised that I have been moved to the SG. Did not even need to attend another medical. Needless to say I am delighted.
Would like to thank all connected to this site. Without it, I would never have been able to answer the confusing, misleading and ambiguous questions on the claim form. Other claimants, please follow advice on here and use the information boxes on the form to ensure that those making decisions get a complete picture of how your illness affects you. I even argued that the question "can you raise one arm above your head", was misleading as I can lift my left arm but not my right. As I am right handed it was a health and safety risk to ask me to use my non-dominant hand/arm to carry out certain tasks (as has been the case in the past).
Thank you once again for all the invaluable advice.
Best wishes to all,
Carrie
