Successful at Appeal

The Judge had very little to say but the doctor though pleasant grilled me so much I felt cooked by the time I left!
However 4 days later I got the dreaded letter and it took me 2 hours to pluck up courage to open it and I read it again and again and yes it said the original decision had been set aside and I was awarded 15 points and put in the WRAG group.
However the DWP sent me a letter today requesting a further certificate and on calling them they said they had not been notified so I am off to the doc tomorrow and will be sending them a copy of the letter...don't think I will fully believe it until I get it in writing from the DWP.
Thank you so much for all the guides made available on this site...would have never had the courage to appeal without you and them...once again THANK YOU XX

I had my Appeal on 4th Jan which if I am honest I thought before it ended that I had failed miserably and when I was told a decision would be sent out to me this confirmed my thoughts. I found the whole experience so stressful that though I spent hours typing notes to take me with I failed to look at them even once!

Hi rd1954,
Congratulations on your award of WRAG, as a result or your Tribunal Hearing.
The request for a new fit note, is probably due to the fact that the DWP have not yet processed the Tribunal decision.
Yes, you should send them a copy of the Tribunal Decision Notice, preferably by recorded delivery.
You really should not have to provide further fit notes if you have now been placed into the WRAG.
Don't forget this award of WRAG by the Tribunal, will be backdated to the time of the original adverse decision that you have successfully appealed.
