The money spent on this site was the best ever as I would never have done it without the guides.
Thanks so Much

I was put into WRAG following assessment, which I knew was wrong but I could not face an appeal procedure. I wrote to them asking for it to be looked at again, heard nothing. I then received my appt for an interview to discuss my work prospects, I was dreading it. The day before I was due to go I got a phone call reminding me about the appt then 10 minutes later they rang back to say I had been put into Support Group & did not need to attend. My relief was unbeleivable.

Hi L,
That's really good news !!!
Thanks for sharing it with us, and thankyou for you kind comments regarding B&W.
You may wish to now request your ESA85 if you had a medical or your ESA85A if you didn't.
Either of these reports will contain your "Prognosis", expected length of award, said prognosis may also be recorded on the LT54 form, which will have been filled in by the reviewing DM, as you had a revised decision due to reconsideration.
See :

ESA Forms
At least then, you will have a good idea of when your SG Award may be reviewed.

That's great, you must be so relieved that it's over I am going through the same thing at the minute. Can I ask if you put in for an appeal or just asked for it to be reconsidered and did you send any extra information. I too am dreading the interviews.
Thank you.

Hi L,
Just to add, the LT54 Form would most probably be the more relevant form here.
As the ESA85/85A, may only contain the prognosis of your original award of WRAG.
Still worth requesting them though.

Hi J,
It would appear from the OP's original post that he/she only asked for a reconsideration, as in : "I was put into WRAG following assessment, which I knew was wrong but I could not face an appeal procedure. I wrote to them asking for it to be looked at again".
Don't forget that an automatic reconsideration takes place when an appeal is submitted, and is only passed on to the "Appeals Service" if the decision is not changed at that stage.
A claimant can withdraw an appeal at any time, if they wish.
