Appeal Won was created by Electric
Went from 6 points to 21 and it was all very painless. One thing the tribunal panel possess is common sense and so the decision had been made on the paperwork alone and no further questions were asked.
By the time my appeal was heard I no longer required ESA but on principal I could not let the original DWP decision stand. But what an utter waste of time when I had already pointed out an error in law to DWP.
I've still not managed to convince a large majority of people entranced by right-wing press of the unfairness and absurdity of the system but I continue trying!!! I think unless you have experienced the process yourself there's no real understanding.
I just feel sorry for people with long term illnesses who don't have the energy for the constant battle. Anyway good luck to all those who are appealing.

well done Electric and thank you for encouraging others to keep battling !
I am waiting on 2 appeals at the moment, one ESA and one DLA, and have been told it will be sometime in the New Year (I have waited 24 weeks so far).
I am not giving up and have recently bombarded the tribunal people with huge amounts of extra evidence and have got myself Legal representation so I intend wiping the floor with the DWP !
best wishes, Lisa

Hi Electric
Congratulations on winning your appeal and I'm pleased to hear that it was straightforward.
I've often heard of appellants winning an appeal in a matter of minutes, based on the paperwork alone, and such cases should never have needed to reach a tribunal.
Regards
Derek
