I've held of posting this because I've not been too well lately and fear I'm in for a bit of a rough ride health wise. But after my 3rd attempt applying for DLA - I was awarded HRC and HRM with no medical.

The decision was based solely on my GP's letter that I submitted with my form. The GP was sent a form to complete by the DWP and I also supplied evidence from consultants and the OT. But the award specifically states the decision was made on the letter alone.

I took my time to complete the form working methodically from the B&W guides, and have no doubt the award is a direct result of the advice, resources and forum of B&W. I can now start to window shop for all those fantastic things like motorised beds, special pillows, extra sheets/ bedding and the ultimate gadget - An ergonomic chair.

Next my migration from IB to ESA.

Thank you B&W and all who sail in her :)

Well done Dorid :)

Please remember to use the same letter/evidence you used for Dla, when you are migrated from IB to Esa and let us hope things will also go smoothly for you.

Take care.

Well done Doris, and it is so very true when we say money cant buy health, and that IS the most important thing TO life itself. Hopefully the migration will go through with ease as well ....
