Put straight into Support Group without medical was created by Honeybear
Just received phone call from Jobcentre Plus advising me that I have been placed into the Support Group.
I can't tell you how happy Iam,all the Stress and Anxiety over the last few weeks, worrying what would happen.
The woman on the phone said that a letter would be send to me in the next 2-3 weeks. And also that nothing would change with my payments (Transfer from Income support to ESA).
I have just looked up the rates for support group and believe I should be getting more than before. She also said that I will migrate from the 15 of October. I was under the impression that the new rates would apply as soon as a decision was made on your claim.
I would also like to say a big thank you to B&W,without the guides I dont think I would have passed.

First of all congratulations and thanks for letting us know.
Everynody being transferred from IB is being given an Effective Tranfer date, which tends to be 2-4 weeks after the date of the Decision, this is to avoid you suffering an interuption of your payments when your IB claim is closed and the ESA one opened.
The ESA(CB) Support Group rate is £99.85 (see here )
The intention of the transfer is that if your IB payments were higher than the equivalent ESA rate, an additional payment will be made until the ESA rate catches up. If your IB payment was equal to or less than the ESA Rate, then you would be immediately moved to the ESA rate.
If you believe that this has not happened, then you should contact your local DWP office for a more detailed breakdown of your payments.

Thanks Gordon...I'm just so happy that all has gone so well. I'll keep an eye on my payments and if there's anything wrong I phone.
