You can fill in and print off the interactive version of the ESA50 in lieu of the form that was sent to you. Indeed, many members prefer to use this form as it is more user-friendly and can be amended without untidy alterations, as well as having other advantages.

There is no need to mention anything about the use of the interactive ESA50 as this is available in the public domain, and therefore is accepted in the same way as an ordinary ESA50 which can be filled in with a pen.

Great, thanks for the advice. Using the electronic form will help a great deal with getting more info in and editing it. I may have to send them a magnifying glass with the form though!

Hi Brian, I know that may have been a joke?!

Maybe it would be better to add extra pages with your name and NI on!

Best wishes,
Rachel :)

Yes, I used the pdf version too and found it much easier than filling in by hand. I saved frequently as I went along and found that I had to tab out of the text box that I was using so that the additional text in that box would be saved.
Also noticed that the pdf version doesn't have the NINO on each page, so I put it on by hand in case any of the pages become detached. Where there wasn't enough space in the boxes I typed up additional info (headed with name, nino and question number) and inserted in the appropriate section of the form iyswim.
Relieved to have got the form off today, now it's a waiting game until the next thrilling instalment of the drama :( :( :(
