Appeal at Tribunal was created by Elizabeth
Hi All, Would just like to let you know that as Menieres sufferer I have won my appeal for ESA after an ardious hour of interrogation!!AN awful experience it was, I had to explain how my condition had started from start to where I am now! It was like being at the first appointment with my ENT Specialist!! 45 mins for the first round , called back in for more questions then my advisor from CAB was called in for decision!! I was a nervous wreck by then and when she said I had succeeded I broke down in tears!! I am disgusted with the whole procedure. I have been in contact with my MP who has taken the time to speak personally to my cab advisors and myself and has asked me to inform him of how i got on at my tribunal! Success is great! but then to be told that because it is now 6 months since my ATOS medical... I could be called at any time to start the whole traumatising experience all over again from scratch !!!! What is the point of elation when now you wait on the next blasted letter from ATOS!!!
Anyways, just thought I'de share my experience with you all to help prepare you if you are going through the same

Hi Elizabeth
Well done for winning your appeal and getting through the process.
I do sympathise with the predicament that you and many other claimants are in. The DWP either doesn't understand or doesn't care about the emotional trauma that claimants go through during the appeal process, nor do they understand that claimants do not get better when put through constant stress.
I can only encourage people to lobby their MPs to speak out on the whole ridiculous process.
Good luck
Derek
