You have my sympathy on this. I was a DLA Tribunal Member for over 10 years, but gave it up after I reached State Retirement Age in 1995, as the tax man aka HMRC were taking virtually all the fees I was paid for sitting on DLA Tribunals.
At that time, the average wait for a DLA Tribunal was around 4-6 weeks. Most appellants these days have to wait 4-6 months for a hearing because the Tribunals Service is bogged down with IB/ESA appeals with no sign of improvement
