Thanks Gordon. I spoke to JC+ and the Decision Maker in Scotland last Friday. She has agreed to ask Atos if they were prepared to release the personalised assessment. I thought Harrington had said they were to be made available for claimants.
The date in November is because after this you get your £10 Xmas bonus and that after that it goes back to the usual - it's just a a computer glitch.
I am to be reasssessed in two years. I asked what was point since mine is a progressive condition and this is as good as it gets and this puts me in support group now. So why cause the stress and cost of doing it again. Cut no ice, was told it was inflexible system that doesnt take account of the individual circumstances and that ALL claimants will be sent the form. So what about the fact that the DM is supposed to be able to make a deicision based on the evidence they hold already.
VERY interestingly both of them said several times that it was ATOS who made the decision not them. Completely at variance with Harrington Yr 1 recommendations.
I am writing to my MP to tell her of this. I sincerely believe that it was my involving her before the form went in that made a difference to my speedy decsion and I urge others to get appointments for the MP surgery. She wrote an amazingly supportive letter saying that compelling someone so sick and disabled to fill in a lengthy form was 'inhuman'.

Hope your review date a long long way in future and ESA will have changed. Lib Dems going to make a fuss at their next conference so we are winniing them over to our side.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Thanks for letting us know the outcome of your call.
Based on my own experiences and that of other members, there seems to be huge gap in the understanding of how the system works, between the front end staff, who answer the telephones and the back room staff who actually make it work, so I would take the comment about who actually makes the decisions with a pinch of salt, albeit a small one
So at last we know why the end dates are in November, the £10 Christmas bonus, makes you wonder how anybody receives any money with a computer system this sophisticated, bodes well for the Universal Credit
