ESA support group

I think I qualify for the support group under the certain criteria.

I'm not sure whether to write on the ESA50 at the back under "other information" the reasons I think I qualify.

What have other people done?

I want to get my opinion across but don't want them to think I am telling them how to do their job! which might go against me!

Any ideas?

Hi, put everything down as you see it, all your ailments and disabilities, references of doctors visits and his commments ,all the small things why you think you qualify,have you looked at the list of discriptors on this site it gives you all the info of qualifiying points to get wrag or support group statis . all the answers are there, but you have to put it all down on paper! good luck!

I think that it is wise to add relevant information that does not fit into the answers to any specific question on the ESA50. I think that this is helpful even if it doesn't relate to the support group but is especially so if it does as the relevant questions may not be asked of you.

Thank you both for replying, I have been trying to make sure I add certain words that are in the descriptors for the support group as I feel I definately meet the criteria for one of them.

I feel so negative and despondant about the whole DLA and ESA applying business, I can't believe I have to describe in great detail stuff that is so personal and private, to someone who probably won't care anyway.

I have found many people reluctant to disclose more personal information.
The more information you can give will help. This is about you and if you feel that the questions have not covered your condition as it effects you the other information section gives you chance to explain.
