If for some reason I fail the home visit medical which as we all know is perfectly possible and am refused D.L.A. will this affect my E.S.A. standing or are they totaly seperate.
And if they arnt totaly seperate why cant the fact I have been placed in the E.S.A. support group be accepted as proof of my problems by the D.L.A. people
Any help or thoughts please
Roy

However, do bear in mind that they are assessing different things. It is entirely possible to be eligible for one without the other, and indeed many people are.

I wouldn,t worry when the doctor comes show them the letter telling you that you are in the support group for esa. My experience was the same I got put in the support group for esa then in july a doctor came to see me from dla, I showed him the letter and to me the doctor seemed very abupted and not very interested in what I had to say but to my surprise I have just got a letter saying I have been awarded dla. Don,t worry when they ask you to do certain things if you can,t do them just say so and don,t try. GOOD LUCK!!
there has never been any conection between how good a job a dr will do and there manners ...... some of the best drs have no skills in dealing with sick people
