i have just been refused the mobility component of dla, after i have been getting the higher rate since 2000,i am an above knee amputation and im really scared. is this right?

Did you keep copies of your previous claims, as you need to identify what may have changed in your submissions that prompted the change, I'm assuming that you don't believe your mobility has improved.
Contact the DWP and ask for the Decision Makers report, so you can see how they arrived at their decision.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to find, but you should seek face to face advice from the CAB or Welfare Rights.

It's not like rehab grows their legs back is it? They're still disabled and need financial support. The more hassle MPs get the more they'll respond.
