hi to everyone, i have read on here that people are sending a copy of their esa50 to a decision maker as well as atos how can i find out where my local decision maker would be. also on lower rate care dla, is there any other carers allowance that my partner can get as she is looking after me 24/7 and i realy do not think its fair that she gets absolutely nothing. I am on long term income support for being disabled and had my care dropped to low rate by dla at last renewal but kept my mobility, and upped it to indefinate, they told me that i do not need care but could not cook a meal for myself. my condition had worsened when i renewed, i was told not to appeal as i could possibly loose everything. like i said it is not fair that she gets nothing not even below minimum wage. best regards to all
You can send the ESA50 to your local Benefits Delivery Centre (BDC), the address should be on any of the correspondance you have received from the DWP. It is probably best to write a short covering letter which should be marked for the attention of the Decision Maker. I am afraid that the Carers Allowance is only enabled through DLA MRC or HRC, there are no other "caring" benefits.
