How do you know where your local decision maker is and the address/dept to send it to? Do you have to try ringing up the DWP and work your way through a maze of different depts?
I sadly only have a letter from my GP to back up my claims as I can't afford to see the private hospital that originally diagnose me and my local chronic pain clinic wouldn't write me one even though I offered to pay for it as they said it wouldn't do any good as ATOS and the government won't listen to Consultants anymore.
Your claim will be dealt with by your local BDC (Benefits Delivery Centre), the address and telephone number for this should be on all the correspondance you have received from the DWP regarding your claim.
