My husband received a letter this morning awarding him high rate mobility and mid rate care. This was without a medical and using the form that I filled in and a report from our G.P. The award is for 2 years which is fair as it is following an accident at work and we don't know how he will be in 2 years. I filled in the form as honesty as I could and focused on what he was not able to do either through non use of limbs or pain. I put in as much detail as possible and used all the space available and some. I sent in anything that I thought may be relevant at all. I tried to put myself in the position of the person reading it to see if I could understand what restrictions Dave was facing every day and also from my point of view hat I was needing to do for him.Also because I have chronic health problems I included what others were having to do. I have been a member of B and W for over 2 years now and they have helped both me and I would never have foreseen it, My Husband. THANK YOU xxx
