esa form and waiting for decision

Ive recieved my esa review form.being transfered to esa from IB.how long after sending form off sre people having to wait for a decision.i understands this will vary,will just be interesting to know others experiences

I returned my esa50 two weeks ago, and haven't heard anything back yet about whether or not I will have to attend a medical.

I think it depends on the workload of the office dealing with your claim, but its certainly extremely stressful waiting and not knowing!

Atos recieved my ESA50 on the 15th June and yesterday they phoned me. However,I don't answer the phone to witheld or unknown numbers so obviously didn't pick up. I clearly stated this on the form but they still called me.

This could possibly constitute a breach of the Equality Act 2010.

Hello Helchis and Nada. After ATOS had received my ESA50 it took 20 days before I received a letter from the DWP saying that I had been put into the support group.

Four days before that I had had a phone call from the DWP asking me to confirm my bank details, but no other information about my claim was offered.

It is a difficult time to wait, I know. I should imagine that it takes about three weeks between the time your form arrives at ATOS until you hear from them or the DWP. I live in East Anglia.
