Make sure you have your GP or other Health Professional ready to do you a letter for the DWP/ATOS stating that forcing you to attend a medical will be detrimental to your health and well being and that if any medical is needed it should be carried out at your home.
I had this issue and my GP faxed a letter to ATOS and they carried out a home medical.
Didn't help me though as the details provided by the ATOS doctor were a total fabrication and I appealed being given 0 points and at reconsideration was put in WRAG which I have also appealed and that appeal to be in support is progressing.
Don't let them get to you, get prepared and keep a photocopy of your ESA50.
best wishes,
Lisa

My form is due in this Friday am I better to send in letters of support and extra sheets with added information on my condition with the form , is it ok to to send it the online form? , I am currently in the support group with mental health problems I am soon to be starting gradual exposure therapy with my phsychologist I have a letter from her stating that attending a medical would have a serious impact on my recovery and that attending a medical would cause me great distress I have been housebound for 20 months apart from attending my therapy sessions I am also still seeing a psychiatrist and I'm an outpatient at a local day hospital for mental illness ,what are my chances of staying in the support group and do you think they will ask me to attend a medical , I would be grateful for any advice
