Just received the result of my ESA medical from June 20th and have failed!Absolutely gutted.Scored nil points although been on ESA for over 2 years and my condition is worse now than it was at the start.Iam going to send off my appeal today but would like to know do I need to send a sick note in with it?Thank you for reading. Peter
There's no requirement to include a sick note with your appeal and I certainly wouldn't delay sending it in on that account. But you will, as far as I can recall without looking it up, be required to provide sick notes whilst you are waiting for your appeal to be determined.
Good luck with it,
Steve
Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
I you have a sick note and GL24 form ready to be sent you can send them in the same envelope (write 'Appeal' on the envelope) but it's not absolutely necessary to send them together.
