I'ts here! was created by confused13
Well it arrived like a lead ballon smack on the mat. The dreaded brown envelope, beleive it or not it is a relief, I was getting very stressed checking the post.

So no doubt i will be popping up all over the place asking stupid questions, please be patient with me :)

A couple of points to start 1) they have my old phone number should i tell them?
2) the JC address on the letter is over 120 miles away WHY? will I have to travel there?
Any help gratefully taken

Cheers guys n gals.

Hi confused

You didn't say what arrived smack on the mat!

You can inform them of your new telephone number if you want to receive calls from them, but you will probably be required to write it on a form at some stage of your claim/appeal process.

Letters are often sent out from central offices; you should only have to attend an interview (if one's required) at your local JCP.

Regards

Derek

Its the dreaded migration letter ib/esa.

My partner thinks I would be ok under the mental health criterea, as I have just finnished a course of therapy with a NHS doctor and his letter states all tho slight improvement has been made the patient cannot cope outside the home and has been verbally aggresive to others. I am dreading going for the medical as its somewhere where I have not been before, but so be it.
