Simply put
Esa report states the following
"occasionally can walk for 10 minuets to the buss stop"
"the buss stop is 100 meter's away"
If it takes you 10 mins to walk 100 meters would you not qualify for high rate mobility?
At no point during the exam was i asked how far i could walk before i experienced sever discomfort the examiner just simply noted i could occasionally walk to the bus stop which i feel is unfair. i have new evidence to state i cant walk any distance without sever discomfort but this is a point i feel is important to point out to the tribunal with regard to the old evidence and decision.

As I understand it, the DLA walking test takes into account a number of factors, including distance, the time it takes, how easily is to walk (do you stumble), and of course severe discomfort.
The generally accepted distance is 50 metres, however, a longer distance would be considered if other factors apply.
So as you can see there is a very large grey area betweem yes and no.

Thanks
Well the medical report is something im disputing but i think that they fact that the examiner noted it took me 10 mins to walk 100 meters is a good point to raise when disputing it

In your appeal, the key is to focus on what is repeatable, regularly and safely. If you experience pains after 25 yards then you need to get that across. Or if you could walk 50 yards once, but then have to rest for half an hour, get that across. Or if you would be in danger of falling over.... You get the picture. If an activity isn't regularly and safely repeatable, then explain in detail.
This is typical of ATOS reports, taking things out of context and assuming they imply greater capabilities than you really have. It's actually built into the software! How crazy is that?the examiner just simply noted i could occasionally walk to the bus stop which i feel is unfair.
