I am waiting for my Welfare officer to get back to me. I did not receive a date for review though, should I have got one?
Hi,
You should have been told how long your award is before your next review will be (sadly 6 or 12 months are not unusual) as in effect it is part of the 'result' of your tribunal, although I am aware it is often either not communicated or forgotten about.
However once the tribunal inform the DWP the DWP should write confirming your award and telling you when your review should be. You can also ring the DWP office dealing with your claim in a few days (once the tribunal paperwork reaches them) and they should be able to tell you how long your award is for.
