How long can u wait [the letter states 7 days, can u leave it beyond this?] b4 phoning the DWP to confirm your ID after receiving the IB 2 ESA assessment letter [if u have not got a phone] Can the the local CAB, welfare rights help with this?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It sounds like they want to confirm they have contacted the right person before sending you further details.
If you can physically gain access to a phone, then I would suggest you call them back yourself as they won't accept answers to the security questions from anybody else but the claimant, unless it is arranged in advance.

I am afraid this is the first time I have heard of this letter, but as a general rule of thumb it is best to stay within DWP timescales wherever possible. How long can u wait [the letter states 7 days, can u leave it beyond this?] b4 phoning the DWP to confirm your ID after receiving the IB 2 ESA assessment letter [if u have not got a phone] Can the the local CAB, welfare rights help with this?

That said, I think it unlikely that anybody would be sanctioned for failing to phone, at the every least they would need to try and contact you again before this could happen, but I do know of claims that have been closed, albeit in error, because of a failure to respond.

If you have been notified in writing by the DWP to contact them, then you need to do so in a timely manner. If you dont phone them back deos this effect you Ib payments

You have jumped into someone elses thread with your question so I am not sure in what context you are asking this question.
Are you asking what will happen when you are moved or are you in the process of being moved and have had a request to contact the DWP?
