Advice on BF85A Form was created by bittersweet
Hi
I've received the form BF85A today, headed, Incapacity Benefit and Severe Disablement Allowance -Changes which may affect my benefit.
They're asking me about any changes to my claim and about all other benefits I get. I think I've been sent one before, but it was a few years ago I believe.
I receive IB, SDA, IS and DLA.
2 weeks ago I received the letter about the IB migration process and yesterday received the ESA50 from Atos.
Does anybody know if this is just routine or has it been sent because I'm starting the migration process from IB ?
Should I be worried and has anybody else received one ?
My circumstances have not changed.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

This is just a standard form, issued to make sure that your benefit payments are correct, it is usually issued every year or two.
It is definitely not connected to the IB to ESA transfer.

Yes it is the start of the migration process. Long term IB claimants like myself are the first to be assessed/migrated which has started. Because I also receive the other benefits I've mentioned, I did wonder when I would be assessed. Sadly it's now !
