timetables of what happens now? was created by micksville
I can't seem to find anything on the forums regarding this but I assume the first you will hear of IB to ESA transfer is when the letter lands on your doormat. What happens then? I understand you have between a month to six weeks to get the form back to the DWP and then you will be called for a medical. Isn't there a phone call from them first too before you get the letter/ Also, when i last received an Incap Ben review they sent me a reminder two weeks after I got the review letter ( andtherefore two weeks before the form was due back to them) making sure I had received the form and telling me of the date it was due back. Is this the same with ESA? I also understand there might be a possibility they are reviewing in alphabetical order which is good for Zimmerman's but not for Allens. Is there any more info on thgis. Lastly, what is the lenght of time from the DWP receiving the letter back and being invited for a medical?

The following document explains what happens when you are transferred in more detail.

We are not aware of any changes to the order of transfer (by assessment date), although there are clearly people being called out of this order. I think this is most likely to maintain a constant stream of trasnferees through the "doors", rather than a fundamental change in the order.
