Hi I'm new to the site and wished I new about it before completing ESA form and medical.

What I don't understand is when I had my medical I was waiting for my angioplasty op, so unable to walk very far at all, but didn't understand the question, and have been told I can walk over 200m so no points. When I have my appeal do they take it as I was on that day, or after op as they say further treatment is irrelevant.

As it happens the op hasn't worked and they need to have another look so I am still breathless after short walk.

Welcome to the site.

The appeal tribunal can only lopk at your condition and related evidence as at the time that the Decision you are appealing, so the operation and any results from it, good or bad, would not be considered.

Thanks for that, still not sure how he thought I could walk very far, but then again he had to reboot his computer while I was trying to explain, and all he has picked up is that I 'used' to walk my dog round the park, but the 'used to' bit is missing.

I am concerned that when I have my appeal it looks like I making it up to meet their criteria.
