New Esa Claim after failed tribunal was created by shandy
Hi All,

In March I failed my tribunal for esa. I was advised to reclaim, as my condition has worsened. I have Multiple Myeloma which is incurable bone marrow cancer. Basically, they have accepted my new esa claim and have started paying me. I am really happy abut this, however, I had a call today telling me they had received my sick note and it had been passed to the Work Capability Assessment AGAIN !!

i have just gone through all the stress of a medical and tribunal and now it starts all over again. How much money is all this costing the country Mr Cameron?

Is this normal proceedure? my GP wants to know why no one has been in touch with him, should I ask them to send him a letter?

Thanks

I am afraid, for the vast majority of ESA claimants to be found unfit for work, they have to undertake the ESA medical, and will have to do so repeatably in order to continue to receieve ESA.

Based on the experience of other members, I think it very unlikely that the DWP will contact your GP, you would be be better off asking him to produce a letter on your behalf, although you may need to pay for this.

Hi All

I did get some advise , but took no one with me only my hubbie in the waiting room.

I have sent two letters to David Cameron explaining what has happened and I got my second reply today, telling me for the second time, not answered by himself I might add saying 'sorry to hear about your illness, your letter has been passed onto the Department for Works and Pensions Department'. This is exactly the same as their first reply.

Basically they don't care. I am so fed up of trying to fight this illness as well as the government.

Thanks for the replies guys
