ESA WRAG TO SUPPORT GROUP

Hi,
as previously mentioned i was placed in the wrag group in jan without a medical, i believe they spoke to a doctor at my surgery who i never seen. based on what they said i was put in the wrag group and to attend pathways. i rang the lady at pathways and said it was impossible to attend and she deferred it and appeal. with your help on this site i did this, terrified though. i didnt have much to support my condition for the appeal and was very worried to go ahead with it. 11 weeks after sending the appeal i received the dreaded brown envelope yesterday. thinking it was a date for my appeal was surprised they,d given me £59.with no explanation why. i have since rung a few times as to shocked to believe it at first, i,ve been placed in the support group for over a year and an increase in money too. i want thank you all so much for your help and time, this site is excellent not just for the invaluable info you give out but also to read that you're not on your own suffering and worrying.

Congratulations on being placed in the support group. It seems the DWP are not very good at explaining their decisions, even the positive ones.
