Thank you for your reply.

I have received forms DLA434.

My care needs have increased since my last claim. As you say not sure about the mobility. I got LRM 4 years because i had a bad case of pnuemonia with an abcess on my lung which has left me with scaring on my lung. I am now prone to chest infections due to this illness and have 2 inhalers. It was because of this condition i got the mobility.
I'm debating about completing the mobility form. My mobility has got worse due to fibromyalgia, i suffer with chronic pain in my knees some days.

I must apologise for completely overlooking the fact that you have fibromyalgia, as I seemed to be having one of those days yesterday when my concentration went AWOL.

Completely disregard what I said about there being no grounds for an increase in your lower rate mobility component, and by all means claim the higher rate of the mobility component if you believe you are entitled, as a consequence of the pain in your knees.

I too have Fibromyalgia, and had my first DLA award in 2003 before any diagnosis. I have since been awarded DLA (HRM and HRC)indefinitely. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in 2009, I also have Osteoarthritis.

I'd go for it!

Hello
I am sorry to pry, but do you have a CPN? Your mental health team could arrange this for you, I know that you said you do not like to have folk visiting but I am wondering if you would consider having somebody impartial to support you? It can be an enormous relief to just have somebody there for you whom is able to carry a little clout as far as the system is concerned. I do hear that you are feeling just so bad and hope that you can build a support structure for yourself.
Its a momentous task to have to deal with these forms when life just feels so awful, I do know a little of what you are going through as at times I just cannot deal with daily stuff due to mainly the physical but sometimes the mental health side of things as well. A few years ago, a close family member committed suicide and it was in the press etc, I lost a pregnancy and things got on top of me and I had the most horrendous panic attacks which on top of my pains, just became too much. There is hope and I think that perhaps you will be able to hopefully find someone who can help you with the forms. Dial are often too understaffed and I too have been in the same position.
Wish I could come and do them for you!
