New health Problem what covers it ? was created by originaldave
Ok seems I have a new health problem
When looking at my arms the other day a nurse spotted burns on them from inside top of cooker, seems I have burnt myself because of not feeling pain
where would that come on esa test, is it worth any points ?
how about under 12
Awareness of everyday hazards (such as boiling water or sharp objects).
12 (c) Reduced awareness of everyday hazards leads to a significant risk of: (i) injury to self or others; or (ii) damage to property or possessions, such that they occasionally require supervision to maintain safety. 6 points

Hi Dave,
I'm afraid that awareness of hazards comes under mental health and learning difficulties, not physical health.
You might try substantial danger, but it would be a long shot, I suspect.

Thanks Steve thats what my OT has said. DLA have accepted I cant "safely" make a meal. I do have other issues that got me the DLA so the meal test didnt really come into it. But I may try as a long shot as it affects my ability to type and do fiddly tasks.
