hi,i'm new a new member and i was wondering if anyone can help,
i had a brain anuerysm couple of years ago which burst and left me disabled with cognitive and concentration problems,
my question, is there a discriptor which would apply for wca exemption?

Hi Edward,

There's a full list of the exemptions in the guides in the members area. But, on their own, cognitive and concentration problems are unlikely to meet any of them.

You might want to look at the exceptional circumstances in relation to being a danger to yourself or someone else if your concentartion issues are severe enough.

you say cognitive and concentration on there own not enough, I asked about this the other day for someone whos only problem is vascular denmentia and someone said i think this would get them support group ? this posting is very similar

The same exception re being a danger to themselves or someone else would apply.

If you're not familiar with dementia but are interested, you may find this link helpful in explaining how it affects people, which may help you to understand why someone with it may become a danger to themselves or others.

hi i also suffer problems with balance how can i be tested for this?
i have falls regularly without warning due to dizzyness and have many injuries,
would appreciate any advice, thanks. :dry:
