would having schizophrenia apply in exceptional circumstances if your a danger to self or others

It's not the condition that counts but the effects it has on you on a day by day basis.

The effects of appropriate treatment will also be taken into account as to whether the claim is reasonable.

Finally there will need to be evidence to support it, a Decsion Maker or Tribunal panel cannot be expected to consider what might happen to a claimant, if there is no history of it happening in the past.

Or has already given away all the money they're allowed this week.

BTW I'm assuming that the sarkie remarks earlier were aimed at the system not at me, but

It does make some sense to have a record - when someone says they have "falls" some people mean they've busted an ankle and will need hospital treatment and then physio for 3 months, some mean that they lay on the floor until someone came and picked them up 36 hours later just before they started hallucinating from lack of water and some mean that they over-balanced into a chair and nearly dropped their book.

If you have one heavy fall a week, but can usually get up, then taking a picture of the bruises a couple of days later (when they've had time to ripen) is not impossible - or even unreasonable.

And it is not wholly unreasonable for someone assessing your medical problems to know whether you fall 3 times a year, but break a hip bone when you do, or 3 times a day and then curse as you pick yourself up.

It's horrid having to answer those, "how many times a day do you ... and how long does it take each time." It really does make it easier to do if you've made a note of these things as you go along.
