Right at present I claim IB (well a little bit of it) and when they move me to ESA like everyone here I think I should be in the support group and I am sure I have it stiched up, I dont have to send in IB50s or sick notes as I am exempt for a couple of reasons... so after I do ESA50 then medical then appeal if they say I am fit for work
When I win or just get in the Support Group am I allowed to saw I think I should be put there and left there and dont want bothering ? are you allowed to put or suggest of course at anytime they can re check people .... but can you set out trying to get them to leave you alone ? has it been tried
I am sure there must be many that fall into such a group and re testing is a waste of money IMO of course
Hey Dave
Always the optomist!!!! But i love your enthusiasm lol anything is worth a try!! Perhaps you should be the guinea pig!! On a serious note i am one of the lucky one's (if you can call it that) placed in the support group but i don't know for how long as there was no indication what date it would be renewed. I have survived for nearly 2 years in support group, but live in dread of that dreaded questionaire dropping through my letterbox!!!
Mm xx
I see it like this I know I score lots of points before I became exempt IB50s I got 60 something points and thats there score not mine, they withhold most my IB as it overlaps with WP UNemply supp ... so if they decide to withold *** them ok they cant leave me in forever but would settle for 5 years

I don't think anybody has had this happen, but I think the following would apply.
If you moved to the WRAG, you would continue to receive the WRAG payments.
If you were found fit for work, then I think you would only be eligible for the Assessment rate.

Thanks for your reply. Although my disabilities have got worse not better and i have picked up a few unwanted problems on the way, i would fight tooth and nail to remain in the support group as i am in no position to work.
Secondly, all these disabled people they are saying are "fit for work" these people find a job as they have no option and their condition becomes worse because of working. Or worse still someone dies because they are being forced into work when they quite clearly are not fit to work!! Who would be liable? Would this be Atos, DWP or the government!!! I know i am looking on the black side, but this could be reality!!!
Very concerned

My property is still on the market and i am desperatly bidding on council properties as and when they become available. My lender is at the moment being quite helpful since my recent health scare, its bad news when it comes to this. At least for the time being they are leaving me alone and are happy to accept the small amount that is being paid by HB. Its been a difficult 2 months but i am fighting back now. I really appreciate you asking.
Thank you
