Tribuneral Sometime in May was created by PauH
Hi everyone

Received a letter from DWP to say my tribuneral should be sometime in may.

Since then I have been diagnosed with another illness

Hiatus Hernia and also Barrett's oesophagus 2 cms length with three tongues I don't have a clue what that is can anyone help explain it to me.

So since my re assessment by ATOS where I got 0 points.

I have Glaucoma in both eyes, Stigmatizm in left eye make's me see double vision, Ulcerative colitis, Benign Prostate, Hiatus Hernia and this Barretts.

Cab is going to represent me.

Not sure where to go from here or work out what I should be doing to improve things so I ask you everyone here what should be my next step what would be the wisest thing to do.

My GP and consultants and CAB have only been trying to help me but ATOS say there is nothing wrong they are not saying that in those words but by giving me 0 points it appears to everyone else their is nothing wrong with me.

Thanks in advance for any help given

Paul

Hi PauH

Hopefully a member will know something about your diagnosis (can't imagine what three tongues are) but you should really get an explanation from the medical professional who diagnosed it.

As you are represented by the CAB it would be up to them to advise you regarding the next step. Your newly diagnosed illness can only be considered by the tribunal if you suffered from it at the time of the decision, but only had it diagnosed since.

Good luck

Derek

if its ib then the vision should get you a few points most people with the barrets would not get a lot of points IMO 1 in a 100 with barrets can have serious problems but 99 would have very few
have you had it looked at and biopsies done ?

have you given details of how these problems are affecting you ? and how all the problems added togther affect you ?

Hi Paul, how long is it since you first applied for ESA?

If it's 6 months, you can put a new application because you have new illnesses/a worsening of conditions.

Best wishes,
Rachel
