Hi Chris I am appalled that neither your LA nor the Fostering Network can give you any clear advice & guidance about this. I know some LAs have produced some detailed guides re benefits for foster carers and adopters & may be accessible on individual LA websites if you have the time & patience to trawl through them all. The only other national organisation which covers foster carers is BAAF (British Agencies for Adoption & Fostering)& regional contact details will be on their website.
