Hi,I am in receipt of SDA. When I receive a letter asking me to go into the job center for a medical, am I able to choose the job center where this takes place? The reason is that I want to be accompanied and it will be easier for my friend to meet me in the city where she works ( less time off work for her ) other than her travel to the town where I live. I will be very embarrassed having to explain about the bowel accidents I get and need someone with me. Thanks
You have no automatic right to choose where you are examined, but there is nothing to stop you asking and putting forward an argument as to why it would be most appropriate.
