Guess what arrived in the post today?
Yes, you guessed it, another appointment date for a medical at the medical centre.

I score, at least, 45 in the descriptors but the score ATOS give me will be vastly different as we all know.

I think it's someone I wrote about you may be thinking of. I know someone who, when called for an Atos medical, said that he was happy to attend but would require an ambulance in which he could lie down. He made a number of other requests as well. They cancelled the medical and gave him the DLA he was applying for. I don't guarantee it would work for anyone else.
