My wife was expecting to receive her DLA renewal forms at the beginning of February and has still not received them. Should she contact the DWP? her DLA award finishes on the 27 July 2011.
We thought she should receive them 6 months before the DLA runs out.
this happened to me last year. When I rang up DWP I was told that they now send them out only 4 months before renewal as they are processing them quicker!!
probably because they dont read them and are refusing more people. Not that I am implying that will happen to you. Just complete it with utmost care and include every tiny detail that supports your claim. Hope this helps.
I would wait a bit longer before contacting DWP.(I live in middlesbrough)
