How do we know when we are due for reassessment?

Hi, I've been on IB for over two years. Initially in October of 2009 I was due to be interviewed but doctors letters exempted me. However that was over two years ago and I've heard nothing since . Any ideas when I am due to be reassessed?

To be honest, no!

The best info we have is that people will be moved on their re-assessment date.

Those exempt the PCA may be moved in the first year.

If you don't have a re-assessment date and are not exempt the PCA, then there is really no way of knowing.

as part of my talking to my MP I got a phone call from a named senior manager from the DWP who I was able to ask questions about ESA/IB changes the fact I only get serps paid and the rest with held ..... the tax postion ect ect

I also asked when was I going to be moved I had herd the time on here ie one of the first and also heard at the end :)

I have had IB for about 15 years and for the last couple of years been exempt medical

the answer given was "god knows could be years before we get to you"

Met with DwP on Friday. IB 3 year interview. Explained the changes. I asked as my review was for Dec 2010 am I one of the first? Told they have no idea how it's being done. Maybe on review date, maybe on age or just random markers. But told it's not alphabetical so I decided not to change my name by deedpoll to Mr. Zebra.

To be honest I think the meeting was a precursor to an early review. So I'm expecting my letter any day soon.

Was told after the initial letter all further contact would be by phone.
Even the decision. Surely this ought to be in writing?

This is an important point as from legal standpoint, many "conversations" have no standing.

Might seem like a good idea to cut the work and timescales, but I see this actually leading to confusion, delays and ultimately challenges.
